Protected Marine Area of Cerrano Tower

The Torre del Cerrano Protected Marine Area, located along the beautiful Adriatic coast of Abruzzo for an area of over 3600 hectares, is a true natural treasure to discover.

On the dunes of the Protected Marine Area you can notice the presence of unusual and particular species of birds, such as the friar, a rare migratory bird; moreover, hikers can spot the remains of the ancient port of Hatria, dating back to Roman times.
